Rules and Regulations

  • By using Nurturing Embrace services, you agree to follow these Rules and Regulations. Violation of these Rules and Regulations may result in suspension of services and/or cancellation of your membership without refund.

  • All membership benefits are only for active members in good standing and only during the term of their membership.

  • We reserve the right to modify/change these rules and regulations without prior notice.

  • Client will need to create a Massagebook profile to complete their intake forms, book appointments, purchase packages and gift certficates.

Refuse or Discontinue Service

  • All service providers have the right to refuse services in any of the following circumstances in which case no refunds will be issued. The list below is subject to change and is only partial:

    • The client is abusive (physically or verbally), or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substance.

    • The client exhibits language or behavior which the service provider deems as an immediate or potential risk to their safety or others around them.

    • The client initiates any form of sexual harassment, behavior, or misconduct.

    • The client shares any health or other information that may require a Medical Doctor approval to receive massage therapy. The therapists reserve the right to require medical authorization to provide massage.

    • The client is under the age of 14.

    • The client is unable to get on and/or off the service table.

    • The client shares any health or other information that the service provider deems unsafe for the client to receive.

    • All intake forms are not completed prior to their scheduled massage time.

Health and Safety

  • Clients should alert their therapist and potentially refrain from receiving services if they have been told to avoid our services from a medical professional, or if they have any of the following conditions: open cuts, abrasions, sores, infections, inability to maintain personal hygiene, or have any condition that poses a threat to their health and/or safety of others. In addition, all clients agree to receive services in accordance with all public health requirements.

  • To ensure you enjoy safe Mindful Touch & Bodywork services, clients with health conditions or have any other medical conditions that may be relevant must inform the staff or management and their therapist prior to receiving services. Alerting staff or management upon your arrival will help you enjoy your complete treatment time and the correct service.

Cancellation Policy

  • Our cancellation, deposit, and rescheduling policy has been meticulously crafted to safeguard the financial integrity of our business and therapists, while upholding principles of equity and transparency for all stakeholders. A non-refundable 30% deposit is mandatory with a card on file upon booking a massage to secure your session.

  • You are granted a 24-hour timeframe prior to your service, starting from the moment of receiving our appointment confirmation via email or text, to initiate any cancellation or rescheduling. Deposits for appointments canceled between 5:00 AM within the 24-hour window will be forfeited. Cancellations made after 5:00 AM on the scheduled day will incur a 25% cancellation fee. Full payment will be charge to card on file for cancelations made 3 hours prior to scheduled massage.

  • In the event that your therapist is unable to attend your appointment or if an error on our part results in the cancellation of your session, rest assured that no charges will be applied.

  • Cancellation fees will be debited directly from the initial form of payment. We retain the right to exercise discretion in reducing or waiving fees. Any rejected payments must be settled in full prior to scheduling another massage appointment, with the subsequent appointment requiring upfront payment in its entirety.

Payments

  • Acceptable forms of payment:

    • Cash

    • Mindful Serenity & Bodywork issued gift cards and gift certificates.

    • Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit and debit cards.

    • Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle

  • Personal checks are not accepted. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Gift certificates may not be used to purchase other gift certificates.

  • Gift certificates are non-refundable. The email with the gift certificate must be presented at the time of redemption. Having a number written down is not sufficient and will not be accepted as a form of payment.

  • We reserve the right to deactivate, cancel or suspend any gift certificate if we suspect fraud, unlawful activity, or improper gift card.

  • Nurturing Embrace gift certificate(s) purchased through unauthorized sellers or resellers will not be honored and are not valid forms of payment. We are not liable for lost funds that were used to purchase any unauthorized certificate.

  • We require a deposit with a card on file to hold your scheduled appointment.  If you do not show for your appointment or cancel the appointment inside of the aforementioned Cancellation Policy time frame (see Cancellation Policy), we will charge the full amount of the scheduled service to the card on file that was used to schedule the appointment time. This is to compensate the service provider for the lost appointment.

Refunds and/or Exchanges

  • All services, gift cards, packages, and memberships are non-refundable.

  • Here at Nurturing Embrace, we are required to treat all everyone with dignity and respect. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, disability, political affiliation, marital status, age, sexual orientation, and genetic information.
